WEll i got a job interview on Thursday at Chase Auto Body Supplies Ltd. Its a job thats PERFECT for me. its Shipping/Reciving auto parts, unpacking/packing goods, operating a forklift and delivering parts to customers around winnipeg. I love delivering bouncers for Bounc'en Good Times. The season is starting to slow down drastically after this weekend so i need to find somthin full time and permanent. The pay is a lower than what im makin now, but its alot more stable job. Plus i could work my way up.
So i went to a car dealership today to get info on what i need to get a car. This is the first time i've ever considered buying a car from a dealership, so i had NO clue on what i needed. I was looking at a 2004 Chevy Cavalier, which is in my price range, i just need a co-signer. I know nobody is gonna co-sign for me, so that was a lost cause. I wasnt planning on buying a car right away, but i just wanted to get some info. I test drove the cavalier, it was a nice ride, ALOT smoother/quiter than the damn truck. its $15,000 with only 35,000 Km. But they have this Push, Drag or Pull event on every so often that will guarentee me $2000 off the price, which would be $13,000 for the ppl who cant do math, :P. But needing a co-signer and knowin nobody will do it for me was a bit discouraging. Ah well thats life i guess.
I look like a burn victime. I have my arms and legs wrapped in gauze. I'm really trying hard to get my exzema under control. I am SO self-conscience about it, havn't warnt shorts since i moved to winnipeg :(. The first time i went swimming since i moved out here was in Pinawa for that job i mentioned in my last post. Anyways, they're wrapped in gauze cause im trying out this new natural stuff called Wound Care +18 Manuka Honey. Its made from honey and is VERY stickey. It doesnt take care of the itch, it heals the wounds from scratching. When i took the gauze off after the first time using it, it felt like i was gettin a hot wax, HURT LIKE HELL! but after the first treatment i noticed a differece big time, so i want to keep using it. So for the first time in my life, ive shaved my arms and legs (no its not for looks, its for my own health, so i dont want any comments about it :P), and no pain when i took off the gauze. ife done 3 treatments already and im so amazed with the difference. I got quite a ways to go b4 its all cleared up, but im very optimistic. I'm gonna be going to my doctor to get Ultra-Light Ray therapy to control the itching. after thats all dealt with i'd like to quit smoking and loose quit a bit of weight. If james is reading this, i wanna ask u if you wouldnt mind giving me some advice an how to loose weight and eat right. U've really inspired me to loose it, i dont care about bulkin up, i just wanna loose the weight.

Well its been over a month i think since ive updated. If anybody actually reads this, ive been workin my ass off and by the time i get home i dont feel like goin on the comp.
Anyways, I survived the "Storm of the Century" that happend last on Saturday July 16. It was the worst storm Winnipeg has ever seen in over 100 years. Ive never seen anything like it in my life. The lightning was INCREDIBLY intense. the storm started at about 11:30pm, there was so much lightning that it almost seemed like it was daytime outside. there wasnt even a half a second between each flash of lightning. The thunder didnt stop, just a continuous rumbles and booms. Tornado winds of +110 kmp\h winds. 20 ft tall trees were bending at a 90 degree angle. there were MANY trees uprooted/broken and lying all over the streets and ppls yards. Power lines scattered all over the city, my power went out at about 2am and didnt come back on till about 8pm the next day. I could just hear my roof wanting to tear away, just hear lotsa creeking and crackin. Just outside winnipeg, farmers barns were blown right over and destroyed. just b4 the power went out there were tornado warnings just to the west and south of winnipeg, but when the power did go out i couldnt listen to the radio or watch TV for any weather warnings. With the wind as strong as it was i could swear there was a tornado rippin though the entire city. I was gettin really worried, but i had to keep cool cause misty was starting to panic, i didnt wanna scare her. But i did go out to my truck and listend to the radio, but i didnt hear anymore about tornados, but that wind was intense....... theres a 13 yr old kid that touched a downed power line and is it critical condition (seriously at the age of 13 you REALLY should know by now NOT to touch a power line). Now for the rain.... if thats what is considered rain. 90mm of rain fell within 40 minuts, my street was turned into a river within a few minutes. it was so heavy i could barely see the house across the street. And well of course Seth slept through the entire ordeal.
Because ive been workin my ass of at work, last week my boss gave me the easiest job i have ever done. I got paid to work 8 hours, when i was only really "working" for 1 hour. The job was to deliver 2 bouncers 1.5 hours outta town to Pinawa, MB and set them up. Well at first i thought this was just a regular supervison job which im not too fond of, but it part of the job which is ok, cause all the other duties i love doin, anyways... well i get there and set them up which took about 30 min, then i start supervising. The guy i went up there with to do the job (hes actually my cousin) with hands me a towel and said were hittin the beach. So we went and hung out in the beach for 4 hours, swimming and checkin out the ladies.... well actually i was checking out the ladies... hes gay so he was checkin out the guys. SO i got paid to go swimming... i had a blast. I was swimmin in a t-shirt and track pants (which could turn into shorts), but im VERY self-conscience about my exzema, but i still had a blast. 1.5 hrs there, 1.5 hours back, 30 min for setup and teardown, and 4 hours of swimmmin. Cant think of a better way of spending an 8 hour work day.
Anyways, nothing else really new with me. Ive been rantin on long enough, i'll try to post more often. TTYL - Kronix |

So i finally saw episode III yesterday..... it was FUCKING AWSOME! clearly the best of the first three... possibly the best outta all of them. Now everything makes sense... I took my dad to it for fathers day. He really liked it to. When its released on DVD i wanna get all 6 episodes.
Other than that theres nothing else new. been workin my ass off in +35 degree weather, fuckin hot as hell. I hate winnipeg climate. Its too damn cold in the winter and too damn hot in the summer. At least the rain has let up for a week now, had some thunderstorm warnings but they never came, go figure. the only type of rain i like is thunderstorms, i cant get enough of them. Had a really wicked thunderstorm here a couple years ago... i was standing about 15 feet away from a lightning strike, it was pretty loud and scary. I was out havin a smoke watchin the lightning show, when BOOM! and all the lights on the street started flickering then everything went black... im a big thunderstorm buff so i thought it was so cool.
Anyways, i'm gonna go play some Kingdom Hearts b4 i gotta go in to work. TTYL |

Luckily the 2 weeks of rain we have hasnt effected work much, but seriously ive forgotten what sunlight looked like. I cant get in my fuckin truck without goin ankle high in water. Thats really no thanks to the fuckin moron who built the house next door to me last month, he raise the land a bit higher than mine so all the water in his yard is goin into mine, fuckin asshole! But im sick like a dog, but im still goin to work, but yesterday it just DOWN POURED like nuts. There was no rain gradually fallin harder, it was light drizzle, 1 crack of good thunder and BAM! soaked in 5 seconds. This is not good for me, i got a bad cold and a fever as it is. I told my boss it was gonna come down hard, but NOOOOOOOOO dont listen to a damn employee! lol nah Rick is cool. Still sick, gotta work tomorrow, not bad though, just deliveries, no supervising, i hate supervising. All i do for 3 hours is stand around makin sure the stupid kids arnt doin flips and shit. Tooo boring for me, i like to keep busy.
I know i shouldnt bitch about the rain, i VERY aware whats happening in southern Alberta. As a matter of fact my moms campground shes been goin to about 8 years has be obliterated. It was a such a beautifull campgroud with a river, its was one of a big things i miss out there. I saw pics of it and the river is about ten times the size it supposed to be. My mom told me that her shed she has "EXPLODED" when the current hit it. We took Seth out there when i was out in calgary in early May. It sad that he wont be able to see it like it was. They are already talkin about rebuilding and I hear my Sis is already wantin to help out. I wish i could, id help out in a heart beat. Anybody reading this try helpin out... lol i doubt anybody will but hey its worth a try. the camp ground is called Riverbend Campground, just outside of Okatoks. The river that destroyed everything is called sheep river. be cool if somebody helps out.
well nothin else to report, ttyl

Well i've luckily been able to put in 40 hrs this week dispite all the fuckin rain. I wokr if weather permits and rain isnt very permiting weather for a inflatable bouncer business. Lookin at the forcast it doesnt look like its gonna change much. Fuckin winnipeg. percipitation has already hindered much of the farming in manitoba and farmin is very important in the province. the rain is above normal for this time of year and we are on the same path we were last year. Last summer was the wettest and coldest summer on record. Look slike we are havin a double take of last summer... again i say fucking winnipeg.
Yesterday at work sucked. I was stuck in a old folks home for 3 hours listingin to terrible kareoke. I was stuck there because it took alot longer to set up the job as we thought, he had to be finished by 1 pm in Selkirk, MB (about 15 min north or winnipeg) so we could leave to do another job back here in Winnipeg. well we finished setting up by 1, but we didnt have time to explain the saftey procedures and how to operate the equipment, so i stayed behind to do that. well there was an issue with the kareoke machine, but i figured that out, then about 10 min later i was done. I had to wait about 2 and half hours for my boss to come back and pick me up, just for us to come all the way back to tear everything down in 2 hours. But being there for the 3 hours made me realize that I NEVER EVER want to be shoved in a old folks home when im old and senile. Many of the elderly there were unable to move at all, they needed to be spoon fed and pushed around in the wheel chair. These ppl arnt paralyzed, they are just WAY too weak to do any normal everyday things. why allow sombody to live like that? i sure would. being there is just prolongin their life. it was just REALLY sad to see, i couldnt wait to get outta there.
Anyways, i got nothin much else to say, TTYL later.

Oh how i DO NOT MISS THE BUS! Having a vehicleis awesome. Now i can go grocery shopping without having to spend $15 on a fuckin cab. If i could afford to buy the truck i would but i can't. Theres so much shit id like to do to it. My work is lookin for another truck to use for deliveries so they want me to ask my dad what he askin for it. The insurance is up on the 14th, so i'm gonna pay for another month in insurance so i have it until i get my other car.
Work is goin good, been keepin REAL busy. i'm workin my full 40hrs now, soon i'll be workin even more. doin deliveries rocks cause i hate being supervised. i work a HELL of alot better when im not being supervised. when im doin deliveries, its just me, the truck and the bouncer (not as in security at a club).
I'm not sure if i posted this in an earlier post, but my dad brought all my old lego from his house for seth to play with here. thers TONS a huge rubermaid bin overflowin with lego. Took seth a bit to get a hang of what contraptions u can make with lego, but now he's makin the most weirdest things. Its awsome watching your own child use his brain and imagination. I think lego is one of the BEST toys a child can get, because it puts the imagination to the test and is great for hand eye coordination. the first day it was here me and seth sat down playin with the lego for about 4 hours straight, it was great. Brought back memories of when i was a kid, and i love that i can share that with my own kid. SETH U ROCK! |

I for one that is just halarious, a ROFLMAO moment. its called The REAL Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. There are 2 parts to the movie and they are of fairly good length. u can find PART 1 at http://www.dirtydollcreations.com/The%20Real%20Legend.html and PART 2 at http://www.dirtydollcreations.com/The%20Real%20Legend%20Of%20Zelda%202.html Please check them out and most a comment on it on my LJ for this post to tell me what u think. Kudos to Ricky for sending me them.

Well its been a while since i made my last post. Its been a busy week with work and stuff. I did deliveries alone for the firs time today. it went good. Doin deliveries myself means more money cause i gotta flip, yes i said flip, a 350+ lbs bouncer into a F150 truck. Ya ya i know james is prolly sayin 350 lbs big deal... well for a fat ass like me it is. but its good work, i enjoy it, but im sore very sore. Soon i'll be workin 45+ hours a week which is gonna kick my ass, and i will have the funds for my car.
Speakin of my car, I definatly have it now.... but its at my aunts, needs some repairs, battery and a safety. I hopin it'll be done within the next few weeks... hopefully no longer than a month. like i said before its nothing spiffy, nothin to brag about. But its a car, which is a HELL of alot better than what i got now. the car is an '88 Oldmobile Delta. ITs silver with power everything, which sucks just means more stuff that i would need to fix if it broke.
Um well nothin much else to report, besides im so fucking sunburnt from work... ya weather in winnipeg has gotten alot better, but it still sucks.

So i had a job interview today at the North West Company. They are a distributor, not sure if mentioned it in the last posts. Anyways, the offer kinda sucked... it was $8.00/hr, casual, 40hrs a week isn't guaranteed until mid july, and i'm guarenteed to be laid off in september. Sounds exactly like the job i have now, $8.00/hr (thats not bad in winnipeg), 40 guaranteed in june, and will get laid off in september... cause its seasonal. I think i'll stick with my current job. Plus its a kick ass job to, not full-time yet, but the season just started, and a few weeks ill be workin 40+ a week.
Anyways, not much else new to report, been thinking alot how/when i'm movin to calgary, nothin really planned out yet. I finnished Doom 3 for Xbox, YAY, that was one kick ass game. Ending was a piss off, exactly like Halo 2. Actaully i think i was more pissed off with the halo 2 ending. Umm, and im playin PSO:BB every now and then...
OH YEAH! i should be gettin a MY FIRST CAR soon. its nothing spiffy, needs a bit of work, but not much. Needs a battery. My aunt is givin it to me. Oh and it needs to be saftied to, but i know how to take care of that ;). Finally can stop takin the bus soon. Buses bite the big one. plus the fact there is no "rapid transit" in winnipeg like the C-train or a subway or anything modern like that, of course not winnipeg.
Ok well im done.

Well today was my first day back at Bounc'en Good Times ( http://www.funrenters.com ) since the season ended last year. I was workin 7 days a week and pullin about 60+ hours a week. I deliver set-up, and tear down the inflatable bouncers and shit. Sometimes i gotta supervise the brats in the bouncers which kinda sucks, but still a fun job, takes me all over Manitoba (not like theres much to see, but it gets me outta the house). $$CHA-CHING$$. Anwyas, it was FREEZING out today, i swear it was -10C outside, but its not very surprising... the norm temp is supposed to be +19 this time of year... BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that the "norm" the the actual. Well enough bitching about winnipeg, im sure ur all sick of it by now... lol.
Any of you who every played Phantasy Star Online (episode I&II), Sega and the sonic team are having an free open beta test for Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst. Its the exact same as episode I&II but updated graphics. Its free to play online, no stupid hunters license. Just some nice old school pso, I know its very outdated now, and im not sure why sega wants to re-release it, when there compitition like World of Warcraft and shit like that. If they expect ppl to pay to play it now, they've lost their minds, nobody is gonna pay to play an outdated game. Anwyas i'm playin it, so if u wanna play you can d/l from the Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst Website at http://www.psobb.com/index.php (it wont let me create an HTML link... not sure y) If you do end up dling it, MAKE SURE U REGISTER (its free). just comment in here if u wanna hook up on PSO:BB.

Well... like i said in the last post i'm back from Calgary. Winnipeg sucks, its SOOOOO dirty here... there's still sand EVERYWHERE from the roads in winter. The air stinks, and the native... dont start me with that. I just dropped my son off at daycare, he was excited to see all his friends there. I already miss my mom, my sis, jamie, gareth, jenna, colin, jon and EVERYBODY in calgary... lucky ass calgarians! lol.
Anyways, i have a job interview for The North West Company... its on monday. They are a distributor, not sure if ill be able to do it cause the start time is 7:30 am, which is a prob cause my sons daycare doesn't open till 7:00am... takes longer than a half hour to get to work which is on the other side of the city and i have to take a stupid bus. I was very fortunate to have my moms car the whole time in calgary. THANKS MOM!
Ive added everybody i can think of as a friend on this Live Journal thing... I hope i can me consistent with updating it... ive had other blogs that i never updated... then again nobody really knew about it so they didn't read it.
